If by badass you mean impressive, Agent ranks high as well. I do like Skipper though.
By overrated mammals you do realise that humans are mammals
Also I once saw that skipper is sceptical of non-avian species.
On his page
Yeah, in TPoM, Skipper called other animals silly mammals on several occasions, or explained something he found inefficient about them with them being mammals. Granted, I don't have exact quotes or info on when it was said, especially because I've watched it dubbed to my language, but I suppose they could be found after tedious searching.
I see this is going to turn into a kind of debate I don't like- I enjoy speaking with someone I disagree with in a friendly manner with the intention to learn from each other's points.
From my part, I don't enjoy either character due to their manner of speaking to and viewing others being a tad bit hostile for my tastes, and neither is as considerate as I'd like them to be. (This thread kind of sounds like them arguing -lol sorry- but it doesn't mean I have a bad opinion about real users who participate in it).
Frankly, 'bada**' is a word that sounds like opposite from a compliment to me (and I'm not sure if it should even be said here, hence the censoring), but others use it as such so...in any case I agree that it's a subjective impression.
The mammalophobe Skipper is from Tpom tv show. The Skipper from TPOM and the Skipper from the Movies are two different Skippers as TPOM is set in an alternate timeline.
And as for impressive. Classified's rank of impressiveness is nowhere near as high compared to Skipper's. Also, in the movie you literally saw Classified getting triggered when the penguins supposedely caught Dave. Not to mention Skipper does care about his fellow penguins, yeah he can be a lil militaristic but he does still views them as his friends. Not to mention Skipper is far more funnier and iconic than Classified. And as for the mammals being overrated, yes mammals are indeed overated. I dont care if am one, you have to admit they are overrated.
I've seen many debates about it, there are many who believe it's a different timeline, and many who think it's the same universe). I once enagaged in mediating between them, of course both claimed they had evidence it's officially confirmed, as I mentioned each to the other side, they went on with something that denies it. I really don't wish to engage again, it doesn't seem like it has an end at all, so I'll allow everyone to believe in whichever they prefer.
In any case, even if seen as separate, the Skipper from TPoM is also Skipper, what the same person would be like in different circumstances, so I do count it into my view of him, and the statement 'Skipper is skeptical of mammals' (mayhaps with adding 'in some timelines') is still true for me because any Skipper is a Skipper.
This latter seems to be hugely a matter of one's beliefs about what it means to be a different person and all kinds of quantum things I don't even. In my view the statement made sense as true as per the reasoning I gave, however if you don't agree with these beliefs, we can only agree to disagree about that bit. I didn't understand you only meant the movie Skipper when you said there's no evidence, I do now even if I still see it differently, so that's cleared out.
I'd say whether someone is funny, iconic or impressive is a matter of preference. I also dislike the spirit of terms over- and underrated because I don't feel everyone should rate things the way I do, rating depends on people's average opinion on something and I don't think it's too much or too little because it's more or less than my own. I can do with saying something is more or less liked than I like it, but for me it's a subjective matter, and I can't admit something I don't personally think.
Technically speaking alternate universe counterparts can also think and behave differently from their original universe counterparts. In JJBA Steall Ball Run the protagonist is Jhonny Joestar who is a counterpart to Jonathan Joestar. Both have a passion for justice, but the difference is the Jonathan is mostly noble whereas Jhonny can many times be an asshole. Another example with be the Yoshikage Kira from JJBA Part 4 and the Kira from part 8. Both are Yoshikage Kira, but the difference is that the Kira from part 8 is a good person whereas the Kira from part 4 is a serial killer.
What do you think?
