Karen was a lemur who used to be King Julien's girlfriend back in Lemur School. She however admitted years later that she was using him for his popularity and was planning to marry him so she could become queen. She tried to kill King Julien for standing her up at prom night, but Karl saved him, because he claimed he was HIS arch-nemesis to destroy, and not Karen's. Karen was later eaten by a foosa as a group of them were running away from Karl's weapon.
