The Madagascar Wiki is meant for everyone all across the globe, of all different types of ethnics, groups, and age. This means that there shall not be any sort of discrimination against anyone on the basis of ethnicity, race, gender, age, status, sexuality, etc., especially when it can affect the peace and harmony of the Wiki.
The main goal for the laws is to preserve the peace and harmony of the Wiki, as well as to maintain a professional appearance. We do not tolerate vandalism.
To avoid offending the laws of the wiki, be sure to make sure that your actions (editing, creating, and uploading, commenting/messaging) are in good faith.
Guidelines include:
1. Do not present fake or irrelevant content.
2. Be respectful of others. Do not attempt to make anyone uncomfortable or speak with hostility.
3. NO speculation of any kind on the actual information pages. Please keep all fan-made content, personal opinions, and speculated characters or story lines in personal blog posts, user pages and discussion posts only.
4. No profanity on pages or comments. Please try and be reasonable- the odd use of cursing is alright but please try not to be excessive. Profanity in comments may be censored out by a moderator or administrator.
5. No inappropriate commentary towards other users or about characters in the franchise. Commentary, imagery, or posts of a sexual nature is simply inappropriate on a wiki designed for use by all ages.
6. No vandalism or spam comments. It goes without saying that we want our community free of people with a lack of respect for the pages on which others have worked so hard.
Any offences against the laws of the wiki may get you either blocked or suspended from the wiki. As always punishment is judged on the intensity and consistency of the offenses. Message on of the administration for questions regarding a block. If you see a page is protected, it likely means it has been a target of consistent vandalism or is an important wiki page for only admins to edit. In the case it has been protected against vandalism, you can reach out to staff to reopen the page for edits or to add the information for you if it follows acceptable guidelines.
The wiki is led and mainly managed by the Administrators and Zoo Overlords (Bureaucrats), who shall ensure that the wiki shall run smoothly and steadily. If you find any problems on the wiki that you cannot or don't know how to solve on your own, be sure to contact them and let them help you with it.
