The Okapi is Marty's former main love interest in Madly Madagascar. Her real name is never revealed.

Marty and the Zebra herd meet the Okapi girl following King Julien’s display of “Love Potion Number 9”. Each of the Zebra’s are interested in dating the Okapi girl, however Marty requested some of King Julien’s love potion for her to become romantically interested in him. King Julien ran out of his love potion following his display and requested the penguins to create him some more, which Kowalski did and dubbed as “Love Potion Number 10”.
The penguins provided Marty with their love potion and the Okapi girl left the centre of the zebra herd who were all attempting to go out with her and headed straight towards Marty who she now found to be irresistible before playing the harp for him in a tent amongst several other animals located on the reserve in Africa.
Due to the adverse affects of “Love Potion Number 10” on his personality, Marty becomes rather shallow due to all of the attention that he is getting and he therefore rudely tells Alex to put his Valentine for him on his large pile of Valentine’s in his tent with Alex telling Marty he’d leave the tent unless he had a Valentine to give him in return, however a pre-occupied Marty mistakenly ignored this and was left visibly confused as to why Alex had left the tent in such a hurry.
Marty becomes overwhelmed with the attention he is getting and decides to leave the tent he was in, only to be followed by the Okapi girl and all of the other animals within the tent who found him irresistible, however this affect wore off after he washed the potion off of his body by jumping into a body of water.
