The Penguins' submarine is equipped with a sonar, several mapping equipment, torpedo launchers (among an array of other weapons), steering wheel and a captain's hat.
It was first by the penguins in Snakehead! to get rid of the snakehead which drove away Momma Duck and her ducklings. It was destroyed by the end of the episode during a collision with the snakehead.
In Herring Impaired, the penguins took the sub down to the lower New York Bay in order to find the crates filled with brined herring.
It is later used in Operation: Antarctica to rescue Private.
