The Super Plane is a vehicle in the Madagascar series.
History[]
After the crash of the original aircraft, the penguins attempted to rebuild the plane. With the help of Mason and Phil, they recruited many chimpanzees for the effort. They then began to steal and dismantle the tourists' vehicles, eventually adding wing canopies, rotor blades, a mechanical apparatus driven by monkeys, and vertical stabilizers but most of its roof were left unfinished. It also features a sentry gun that uses banana for ammunition.
When Alex and Zuba were trying to resolve the dam issue and were about to be killed, Skipper arrives with the plane, Alex's friends, and with a barrel held to the aircraft by many monkeys. They were successful in saving the lions, although Nana penetrates the aircraft's canopy with a rifle, knocking off Hula Girl's head. Due to miscommunications, the plane loses too much altitude, causing the barrel containing Alex and Zuba to also catch Nana and collide with the dam. The impact destroys the dam while the aircraft remains clear of it and returned intact.
In Madly Madagascar (between Madagascar 2 and Madagascar 3), the Penguins and the Chimps were constructing a new aircraft that was designed to have less equipped weapons, and more agile using the parts of the previous model and leftover scrap metal from the tourist's vehicles. This plane was delayed when King Julien demanded the Penguins to find new ingredients for his new love potion.
After being married to Dollface, Skipper, along with his penguin brothers Kowalski, Rico, and Private. As well as the two Chimpanzees Mason & Phil and several chimpanzees or two, used the plane to fly to Monaco, Monte Carlo, for him and his now wife's honeymoon.
In Madagascar 3, Skipper, Kowalski, Mason and Phil went to a local casino in Monaco posing as the King of Versailles and collect funds with their intellect, intent on purchasing a new aircraft to fly Alex and his gang back to New York. However, when Alex falsely believes that the team has ditched them, the gang intervenes. Skipper helps them to escape in a stolen van and instructs the plane to meet with them at a motel. The van lands on top of the aircraft after a long chase. The turret gunner attempts to fire at DuBois but all the ammunition proved to be non-lethal and were easily avoided. The weapon then jams. DuBois managed to attach herself to Melman's neck with a net while Skipper ordered the plane to accelerate, eventually causing the wall blocking her to break and she is dragged away with the aircraft, while the van falls off. After numerous attempts in trying to take out DuBois, Alex eventually manages to break the metal wires of her net with his claws, causing her to fall into a swimming pool.
Turning to New York, Skipper requests a status report, to which Kowalski cites critical damage to the gear assembly. It detaches as he speaks, jumps to Kowalski's notepad, the steering wheel and then the main rotor before knocking out Alex. The disabled plane started to drop vertically before Kowalski can finish his next sentence. The aircraft crashes in a French rail yard.
Skipper confidently informs Alex that the aircraft can be repaired overnight with the chimpanzees, although most of them save for Phil and Mason escaped, with the two mentioning lenient French labor laws left them unbound for 2 weeks a year. Skipper then declares a hull loss. The animals decide to board a train belonging to Circus Zaragoza in order to continue their escape. The next morning, authorities arrive at the crash site only to find many banana peels lying on the ground while DuBois continues her pursuit with her senses anyways to stop Alex.
