  • Despite being a genius, most of Kowalski's inventions have threatened to destroy things.
  • This episode (and Kaboom and Kabust) marks the first time where no other animals, besides the regular series cast, appear.
  • First apperance of the Helmet.
  • When Rico blasted his bazooka at the other penguins, he misses and the fish that is on the plaque of the wall is damaged; leaving only the head and the tail the way it was, and the body becomes only fish bones. However, when Skipper says, "mostly brute force," the fish becomes whole again.
  • Max The Cat makes a cameo.

Foul Up's, Bloops, and Blunders

  • Continuity Error: When the helmet comes off of Kowalski's head, he is sleeping on the floor near the beds, in the morning he wakes up very close to the fish hole.
  • Continuity Error: When Julien sends the penguins back to HQ, he sends them forward, when the HQ is on the left.
