- This is the second appearance of the zoovenir shop lair from Driven to the Brink
- Private was grossed out by the burping in Stop Bugging Me, but he did a burping contest in this episode. He was probably just grossed by it because of the broaches.
- This is the first time a chlorine accident occurred in the zoo.
- The crown King Julien used to uncurse Rico in Misfortune Cookie appears in this episode, along with the one he used during his performance with Marlene in Tangled in the Web.
- Skipper claimed he's a great actor and pretend to be affectionate to Arlene. It's obvious that he's lying.
- Marlene's white fur condition is very similar to dehydration.
- According to the directions on Alice's chlorine package, you can't put in more than eight tablets. But due to getting distracted by a conservation with her coworker, she wound up putting in way more than eight.
Foul Ups, Bloops, and Blunders
- There is a scene where Rico drinks sewage water and inflates.
- When Julien is showing some crowns to Marlene, there are three crowns to choose. The crowns on the sides switch places at the second shot.
- When Skipper draws on the wall with chalk, he draws lines where Marlene's fur would be white/brown - he drew Marlene and not "Arlene".
- When Alice dyes Marlene's fur back to normal the the area below her nose down to below her neck is white as normal despite she was just dropped in to a bowl of hair dye therefore that area should be brown too.
Behind the Scenes
- Nick was suppose to air this Nov 27th, 2010 but replaced with Command Crisis and Truth Ache.
- Nick was suppose to air on May 21st, 2011 but replaced with a repeat.
- On August 15, it was selected in the You Pick the Premieres Week on Nick, but was out-voted by Fairly Odd Parents.
