URL Migration Notice
Greetings,
Over the next few weeks, the FANDOM Team will be migrating several initial communities from Wikia.com domains to Fandom.com. This includes the Madagascar Wiki, which means that in the near future, you will need to go to madagascar.fandom.com to access the Madagascar Wiki instead of the current URL. There will however be a redirect for people using the legacy URL.

How to volunteer to be a Content Moderator
If you're a person who doesn't mind working for the Wiki during free times, and also doesn't mind dedicating that time for the Wiki; then you probably want to be a Content Moderator!
Taken from the Community Central, Content Moderators are users who have additional tools available to moderate specific parts of the community. These tools are:
- Deleting and moving protected pages
- Deleting and moving files
- Undeleting pages and files
- Rollback
- Re-upload files
- Protecting and unprotecting pages
To apply to be a Content Moderator, first you must make sure you reach these requirements:
- At least 75 edits made on the Wiki
- No history of false edits
- Have been awarded the 'Mort Award Winner' badge
- Willing to help if any normal user wants to fix something that a norm…
Featured Content Preference
To submit a featured content suggestion, you can basically suggest any Video/Character/Episode to one us admins via our Message Walls. But to keep things nice and clean, we prefer the content to match with our preference, and if two submissions were sent at once, we will take the one that is the closest to what we want. Listed below is our preferences for the featured content.
We prefer the video to be something short, but not too short like 10 seconds or something. We prefer if it is a clip, whether it is a promo clip or even a mini episode, or a random clip of the movies or the series. Or to make things simpler to understand, we prefer:
- A video with a duration that ranges from 1 minute to 3 minutes
- A clip, promo, or even a mini episode

New Admin Discussion Page
Hi,
I realised that our two admins: Balistic Pve and Deb1701 are both inactive for more than 60 days. According to Wikia's post (http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Adoption:Requests), we could request for a new admin if our existing admin is away for more than 60 days. They said we first need to discuss on who shall be the new Admin for at least one week since we still have a lot of active users using and editing this Wikia.
